Update

Well, I thought this would be fun to keep up with the boys. A quick update -- 4th of July I took the boys to the parade (a first) while Derek was at work. It was unusually hot, but the boys had a lot of fun. Logan was GREAT at hunting down popsicles from the floats -- Nichole saved us a spot -- he even got a couple of fudgecicles! We later went to Rob & Nicholes for a BBQ and the kids played in the pool. We did our fireworks the night before so we could go watch the big show. Kristen & Jeff and thier kids came over (from next door) -- Ellie and Pierce did NOT like anything remotely loud! Evening of the 4th (which is also Nichole's birthday) we headed over to Rob's work to watch (they have a huge private parking lot) just north of the river and highway. Quite a few friends were supposed to be there but we were the only ones that showed (Nichole was a little bummed so I'm glad we went). The kids could have pretty much cared less -- they were riding bikes in the parking lot and playing!

The rest of the summer was just pretty hot and uneventful. Registered Logan in school on the 9th of Aug. & Iona didn't even have his records! Found out the day before school started who Logan's teacher was so we went up to say hi.
